Volvo develops system that detects cyclists

Volvo announced the first detection system for cyclists. This feature takes advantage of new technology City Safety, and further includes an automatic braking to avoid any collision with a rider.

"It is able to detect cyclists and apply the brakes if sensing the event of an accident caused by the driver lack of action," explains Doug Speck, Volvo's vice president.

If a cyclist is identified on a collision course, the system gives a warning for the driver and if it does not react, the car brakes automatically to avoid a possible hit and run.

Volvo wants to introduce this system on all models equipped with City Safety, from May.

KTM X-Bow GT

Jaguar announced the range of new the Jaguar F-Type Convertible the model will be available in the  market in May.

VW Golf GTi

VW has released the first pictures of the new Vw Golf GTi, sports car with debut scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show.

 For the first time, the VW Golf GTi will be available with two power levels: the 'standard' 220 hp version and a designated Performance GTI version with 230 hp. In common the 2.0 TSI turbocharged engine with direct injection and maximum torque of 350 Nm.
